Washington's Olympic Peninsula
Fall Salmon and Winter Steelhead
at it's BEST!!!
Fishing Washington's Olympic Peninsula is truly a breathtaking experience. Rivers like the Hoh, Queets, Humptulips, Wynoochee and Satsop are unspoiled and still quite primitive.
Steelhead (seagoing rainbow trout) average 12 lbs. with many over 20 lbs. caught by our guest each season. Steelhead can be targeted December through April. There are two distinct peaks in the Steelhead season. The Winter hatchery run peaks Mid January, the later and larger Wild fish peak Mid March. There are good numbers of fish throughout the Steelhead season.
Silver Salmon average 10-18 lbs. and are known as wild acrobatic fighters, truly a fun fish to catch. King Salmon the larger cousin to the Silver average 20 lbs and are a strong Bull dog of a fighter. Salmon can be targeted September through November, with the peak in mid October.
We fish 2 or 3 three people to a boat and drift 5 to 20 miles of river, fishing only the best places.
We have heaters abord our boats but warm clothing and good rain gear are a must as much of our fishing is done in the Olympic National Park and Rain Forrest.
All fishing gear is furnished, along with your helpful, courteous guide. I run a very high success rate; about 90% over the last several years. This is My favorite fishery and is now backed by 12 years experience.
